BIOGRAPHY
Morteza Khosravi (b.1988)Morteza had a constant look at outstanding works of ‹‹Lucian Freud››, ‹‹Egon Schiele›› and ‹‹Mark Rothko››, and these works had a great influence on him. Variety in his works reveals that he is not looking for an specific idea, his own drawings are efforts for finding artistic ideas. For him, how to encounter pieces is more important than pieces itself, and because of variety and not being around one idea in drawing, it is seen some sort of Formalism in his works.
His paintings have been showcased in numerous exhibitions in Iran and around the world, including at Artfair Beirut, Tyrgan Toronto, and the Iran Exhibition Minus 40, the Palazzo Bastogi Museum in Florence.
He has been an honorary member of the Institute of Visual Arts Development since 2010 in Iran. He currently lives and works in Tehran.
